GENERAL INSTRUCTION AIMTSM-CET 2022
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
a) Please go through the following instructions carefully.
b) Candidate Should apply for Merchant Navy Eligibility Test (AIMTSM-CET 2022) 'ONLINE' only through website.
c) Only ‘MALE’ candidate can Apply for this Entrance Exam. Multiple application will be rejected.
d) The candidate shall be solely responsible for any loss or hardship caused to him due to his non reading or non-adherence to these instructions.
e) The candidate is requested to visit AIMTSM's website www.aimtsm.com periodically to keep track of new announcements and changes if any.
f) This site is best viewed, using Internet Explorer 11 / Mozilla Firefox 16 / Google Chrome 23 or higher and this site is not mobile compatible.
g) If you have any difficulty in filling the online application form, please send an email to exam@aimtsm.com indicating the problem faced.

1. The crucial date for determining the Age criterion shall be 01-06-2022.
2. The Details for Merchant Navy Eligibility Test are as follows:
a) No. of Questions – 50 multiple choice questions. (Duration 1 hour)
b) Syllabus for Merchant Navy Eligibility Test is General English, Mathematics, General Science, General Knowledge & Reasoning.
3. Please note that fields marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory in the Registration Form.
4. After the Registration, the system will generate and display the Application Number and password, which will also be communicated to the Candidate by SMS.
5. For subsequent logins, use this system-generated Application Number as 'User ID' and password.
6. In case, for admissions, if the Class 12th/UG Degree Exam results are awaited at the time of Online Registration, the candidate may choose the 'Awaiting Results' option.

The Fee can be remitted in the following ways:
Examination Fee will be deposited at Exam Center through Demand Draft or Cash. Draft in favour of Aligarh Institute of Maritime Training and Ship Management Pvt. Ltd.

9. Candidates need not submit any hard copy of the application to AIMTSM.
10. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
11. The Merchant Navy Eligibility Test will be held simultaneously in the 49 cities (Test Centres) across India.
12. Candidates should have to bring all his Original Documents (Relating to their Age, Educational Qualifications) at Exam Center for verification.
13. AIMTSM reserves the right to divert applicants to the nearest cities if sufficient number of candidates are not forthcoming in certain cities, and also if there are too many candidates
for a particular city.
14. Candidates will be able to download the Hall Ticket/Admit Card through website.
15. The name and address of the Test Venue will be indicated on the Hall Ticket/Admit Card and candidates are requested to be present at the Test Venue at least 90 minutes before
the time of commencement of the test.
16. Legal disputes, if any, shall lie within the jurisdiction of Court based in ALIGARH city only.
