Q1. What is merchant navy?

Ans. Merchant navy is an organisation which export/import the luggage from one country to another by ship.

 

Q2. What will be the work in this?

Ans. You will work as crew on ship. Your work will be of ship maintenance. Ship has to department. Engine or deck. if you are 10th pass then you will apply for G. P. Rating. Or if you have pass 12 PCM with 50% marks then you will apply form deck rating

 

Q3. What is G. P. Rating?

Ans. G. P. Rating works at engine department of ship, basic work of G. P. Rating is engine watch. As part of the training, cadets will be given knowledge and skills related to topics like- ship machinery, swimming, fire prevention and safety technology, first aid, basics of sea, ship familiarization faring etc.

 

Q4. What is deck rating?

Ans. Deck rating works at deck department of ship, basic work of deck rating is deck/navigational watch. As part of the training, cadets will be given knowledge and skills related to topics like- ship machinery, swimming, fire prevention and safety technology, first aid, basics of sea, ship familiarization faring etc.

 

Q5. Where will be the exam center?

Ans. Aimtsm has 51 center in all over india. Your center will be nearest to your address.

 

Q6. When will be the exam?

Ans. Exam date is not pre final. When you will download you admit card you will get all the details in your exam date, exam center, exam time….etc.

 

Q7. Exam will be in Hindi or in English?

Ans. Your exam will be in English language.

 

Q8. Mam, how much time you will take in exam?

Ans. It will take 1 hr.

 

Q9. What type of question will be there in exam?

Ans. Question will be from english, maths, science, general knowledge and Reasoning.

Ans. There will be 50 questions in exam.

 

Q11. What will happen after qualifying exam?

Ans. After the exam merit list will be declared. If you get your name in merit list then You will get the chance to join merchant navy.

 

Q12. Mam, if I get my name in merit list, then what?

Ans. If you qualify AIMTSM-CET exam, then you will receive your selection letter by post in Which you will get counselling date and address. There you get admission.

 

Q13. What will be training time period?

Ans. It will be for 4 months.

 

Q14. Merchant navy is private or government?

Ans. Merchant navy is International Job.
